Dear fellow members of the Towanda family,
I can’t believe how much we all miss camp and are looking forward to next summer.
I have had time to reflect on last summer and look forward to 2024!
Last summer, we were so busy having fun, learning, and forging friendships that we just lost track of time. And on the sports front, we achieved so, so much....together!! The activities were fun, the Master Camps REALLY helped our aspiring athletes build on their skills and run with our amazing coaches' enthusiasm. The Leagues (won by Team Pac12) gave everyone fun, friendly, and healthy competition, and the intercamp games and tournaments continued the tradition of fun rivalry with our friends in other camps. We completed ALL our tournaments very successfully. As always, we are filled with pride at the great play and sportsmanship of all our campers and coaches, and we won our fair share of games and championships!!

Not bad at all!!! 7 Wayne County championships, 8 second places, 7 invitational triumphs, 1 runner-up occasion. Awesome memories!! But at the end of the day, what matters is the bonds, friendships, teamwork, and memories at camp, along with the confidence and skills that have been developed in our youngsters. ALL our teams are important and treated the same. And as I always tell them before games, on behalf of Camp Towanda....."win or lose, we love you the same, now go out there, enjoy it, and use what you have learned!!" It really is a fun and safe environment in which many milestones are reached, both personal as well as team.
Many plans in the pipeline for the future and lots of promising, great stuff coming up. Just wait for it...!
